Position Information:
The Patient Safety/Risk Management Senior RN Analyst is responsible for the assessment investigation and evaluation of the incident reporting system used to identify potential professional liability claims as well as interfacing with physicians hospital employees and legal counsel in defense of such claims. The Senior RN Analyst is responsible for training and orientation of new RN analyst staff under the direction of the Director Patient Safety/Risk Management. Assists with development of loss prevention programs and the development and implementation of educational programs to promote risk awareness loss prevention and safety. Serves as the lead resource from the Patient Safety/Risk Management department in responding to regulatory site visits in the absence of the Director. Participates on various committees designed to promote quality and safety and participates in policy and procedure review as identified by various loss prevention activities. Oversees and is responsible medical device reporting to the FDA. Assumes responsibility for the management of routine daily responsibilities of the management of the Patient Safety/Risk Management Department including call in the absence of the Director.
Experience Requirements:
10 Years Nursing - Related Area With 2 Years Risk Management Required
