General Summary

Under limited supervision works collaboratively with UM BWMC leaders and System hospitals providing expertise to acquire, manage, manipulate, and analyze data and report results on clinical outcomes, compliance and standards of care. Analyst provides advanced design, development, maintenance, documentation, and support for UMBWMC clinical quality reporting applications.  This position is also responsible for understanding and applying key business concepts in the development of reports, dashboards, analytics, data mining, and other functions in order to provide historical, current and predictive views of the business. Ensures data integrity and security.

Reporting Relationships

 Reports to the Manager of Clinical Decision Support

What You Need to Be Successful:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 

  • Health related field (preferred) with emphasis on data analysis (preferred).

  • One (1) to Three (3) years of experience in data analysis is required.

  • Experience managing healthcare databases preferred.

  • Relevant experience in training individuals in software applications.
