Position Description:
Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday
Work Location: Physical Medicine Rehabilitation Clinic, Spain Rehabilitation Clinic

Responsible for all patient care; the certified practitioner independently provides or supervises the provision of comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic care as an inpatient, outpatient or on-call basis. This includes patient assessment, formulation of a treatment plan, implementation of the treatment plan, follow-up, and practice management. In addition, the certified prosthetist and/or orthotist is obligated to support and conform to the professional responsibilities which promote and assure the overall welfare of the patient and the integrity of the profession.

Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
B.S. in Orthotics/Prosthetics from CAAHEP or NCOPE accredited program or B.S. in any major, plus an Orthotic and/or prosthetic certification from a CAAHEP or NCOPE accredited program

LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:
Board Certified Orthotist/Prosthetist; Licensed by the Alabama State Board of Prosthetists and Orthotists
