Standard Job Description:
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Specific Job Description:
This position will be a member of the Enterprise Integration team and will be located in El Segundo, CA. The incumbent will collaborate directly with management, engineers and customers, and will manage the integration of the enterprise via systems engineering expertise, techniques and processes. The incument will also ensure that integration activities are fully coordinated, documented, scheduled and executed.

Specific responsibilities for this position will include (but are not limited to):
• Managing the enterprise integration effort encompassing Enterprise, segment level and external activities to develop coordinated schedules at the Enterprise level.
• Understand the complex architecture of the enterprise and schedule interdependencies of the segments.
• Lead integration teams and working groups.
• Identify, track and manage giver/receiver relationships.
• Identify, manage and coordinate issues between segments and work issues to closure - issues may include hardware, software and inter-segment schedules.
• Manage the enterprise-level cross-segment integration program and work with the customer, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Evaluate contractor plans and schedules to uncover disconnects, developing and executing plans to resolve the issues.
• Maintain list of integration priorities, coordinating with the customer and briefing status at program reviews/forums as required.
• Manage integration activities with external networks.

Specific duties may include:
• Implementing processes and tools to manage cross-program dependencies.
• Conducting trades studies and analyses as needed
• Evaluation of future capabilities
• Presenting at forums including ERBs, CCBs and Interface Working groups
• Definition and management of key program performance indicators



Required Experience:
Minimally, a Bachelor's degree and 14 years of related experience or MS and 12 years of related experience or PhD and 10 years of related experience.

Required Skills:
• A fundamental understanding of the segments – Space, Control, User Equipment.
• Systems engineering and digital signal processing (DSP) expertise as applied to large complex systems
• Technical leader capable of delivering customer solutions in a timely fashion.
• Ability to Integrate with other organizations/teams both government customer and subcontractor team members to ensure a cohesive analysis and solution are defined

Clearance required:
Possess or ability to obtain a Secret or Top secret Clearance
