Position Description:
SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a Mission Systems Program SME requires supporting a DoD program from system design through development, test activities, and fielding. The position will provide on-site Government support the to the Compass Call program at BAE Systems, Hudson, NH. Daily activities will be coordinated with program leadership and involve working closely with the contractor’s engineering and production teams. Duties include observing/supporting test events, program reviews, product sell-offs, and other events either on-site at BAE or at other locations to meet programmatic milestones. May require in-flight duties to accomplish system evaluation during test.

Responsibilities

  • Support technical evaluation of mission systems operability and suitability
  • Coordinate and review rough order of magnitude estimates and statements of work
  • Record, analyze, and report DT/OT performance indicators relative to defined test objectives
  • Analyze requirements and provide solutions to the USAF PM
  • Evaluate mission system performance during ground, laboratory, and in-flight operations
  • Facilitate technical interchange meetings and certification plan reviews
  • Assist in the development of test strategies, plans, and reports
  • Monitor progress according to integrated master schedule
  • Manage program risk and expectations
  • Serve as an interface between BAE engineering personnel and the Government program office
  • Assist program managers in contract development. Coordinate and review Rough Order of Magnitude estimates and Statements of Work. Assist with technical evaluations of contractor proposals
  • Facilitate Technical Interchange Meetings and Certification Plan Reviews
  • Monitor program risk and expectations. Ensure risk categories are appropriately identified, and communicates any identified changes to risk
  • Monitor contractor progress according to Integrated Master Schedule. Assist with development of alternative courses of action, as required
  • Support program office with development and production schedules and determines compliance with contract specifications
  • Monitor quality assurance. Continuously evaluate quality of production and ensure adherence to standard practices
  • Travel to attend meetings as required

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics or science; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Must have at least 5 years’ experience with advanced, integrated electronic warfare systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, Edge and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal, team building and communication/presentation skills
  • Must be TS/SCI eligible

 Preferred Requirements

  • At least five years in an EC-130H operational squadron
  • At least three years’ experience as an EC-130H Mission Crew Commander
  • The ideal candidate will be a Weapons School graduate
  • Experience with DoD acquisition processes, and requirements determination
  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline
  • Master's degree in technical discipline, program management, or related field


Security Clearance Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security
investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified
information. Must be TS/SCI-eligible.
