Position Description:

SRC, Inc. is seeking an AVP, Corporate Information Technology. This leadership position is accountable for all enterprise IT systems and solutions. This role has overall responsibility for the planning, implementation, testing, documentation, delivery and maintenance of all third party and internally managed IT infrastructure and applications used to support business operations and services across the enterprise. Effective delivery of IT services is achieved through the management and orchestration of people, technology, products, providers and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Set high level direction based on knowledge of industry trends, overall technology standards, and alignment to the business
  • Develop annual IT budget to support division annual operating plans, company strategic plans, and annual IT strategic objectives
  • Oversee requirements development, software acquisition, implementation and maintenance of business systems to support the enterprise
  • Responsible for overseeing administration and maintenance of all unclassified and unclassified client and server systems and networks
  • Ensure the enterprise systems are safeguarded through state-of-the-art cyber security practices
  • Oversee compliance of all IT systems with government regulations and contractual requirements
  • Responsible for overseeing monitoring and assessments of the current state of client, server, network and communication systems at all company locations, planning and budgeting for system upgrades and replacements, and the timing for the injection of new technology
  • Attract, hire, lead and develop high-performing information technology staff; coaches and counsel managers regarding management techniques. Determine and manage staffing strategy and plan consistent with the needs of the department
  • Oversee the prioritization and scheduling of projects based on business risk and impact
  • Oversee the development, implementation and execution of multiple projects ensuring scope, schedule and risk assessments are established for projects; oversees operating plan and resource allocation for the department, including staff deployment; acts based on changed priorities
  • Develop and maintains a network of industry contacts
  • Perform or directs research on industry trends, competitors, business and IT products; analyze trends and make strategic and tactical recommendations
  • Ensure system, technical and product architectures are aligned with business objectives

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in technical or business discipline or related experience
  • Minimum of 20 years related experience with 10 years in leadership roles
  • Advanced knowledge of management concepts, practices and techniques
    • IT concepts, strategies and methodologies and their application to business opportunities
    • business operations, objectives and strategies
    • project planning methodologies and tools and IT standards and guidelines
  • Ability to promote a team environment consisting of several teams
  • Highly developed negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills
