Manages the direct and indirect sales through a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals. Designs and recommends sales programs and sets short- and long-term sales strategies. Evaluates and implements ap-propriate new sales techniques to increase the department's sales volume. May recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to sales team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
Key Job Activities:
Maintains an effective sales staff by hiring, training, and developing personnel.
Establishes sales objectives by accurately forecasting and developing monthly sales quotas for team; projecting expected sales volume for existing and new products by revenue stream.
Achieves results at the region, revenue stream, market, territory, and account levels. Achieves these results/goals by planning, counseling, coaching employees, and monitoring and appraising job results. In addition, maintains an adequate pipeline to achieve goals; accurately and consistently forecast business results.
Develops territory and account strategies to support and attain quota in assigned territories.
Focuses the sales effort around identifying and fulfilling customers’ current and future needs, utilizing solution-selling models.
Builds a customer centric orientation and drives consistent high loyalty ratings
Manage all marketing activities.
• Education equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree in sales/marketing, or the equivalent in related work ex-perience.
• 5+ years of successful experience in sales/telesales, with a consistent, proven track record of overachievement of quota expectations in a business-to-business environment; including one year of team leader or supervisory experience.
• Two or more years of outbound telesales management experience is preferred including telesales management experience and success in a business-to-business environment, demonstrating the ability to successfully manage people to achieve performance goals.
• Technologically knowledgeable, especially in sales software, Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
