We are currently seeking a Business Analyst I. This position will oversee the analysis of customer sustainability reporting, current processes, identify process improvements and develop detailed business requirements to support changes to Stericycle’s software systems.
•Responsible for all division reporting including external customer cost savings reporting as well as regulatory & compliance reporting to EPA, DOT, & IDEM.
•Participating in Developing Pricing and long-term Strategy for Indy Sustainability Business. Build full predictive P&L's from Revenue through EBIT for all potential StrongPak customers.
•Analyze existing IT process, identify problems and resolutions and generate formal change requests to inplement the solutions.
•Write requirement specifications according to standard templates using natural language simply, clearly, unambiguously and concisely.
•Assist in Forecasting and Reporting Revenue and Expenses by customer for Indianapolis business.
•Evaluate ROI on large capital investments.
•Take a role on internal committees aimed at developing cost savings and revenue generation strategies along with new customer solutions.
•Participate in requirements prioritization.
•Participate in reviews of work products derived from requirements specifications to ensure that the requirements were interpreted correctly.
•Establish and implement effective requirements practices, including use and continuous improvement of the requirements process.
•Assist with the development of the organization’s requirements engineering policies, procedures and tools.
•Performs other related duties as required or requested.
•Education equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or other related discipline, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating the ability to analyze and reengineer processes to make them more effective for the organization.
•Two or more years of business analysis experience in a medium to large size corporate environment.
•Targeted experience with financial systems, hazardous waste and/or transportation logistics, a plus.
