The ESIII is responsible for the receiving, identification and disposing of various hazardous materials in compliance with proper procedures for hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling and management. This position will be responsible for representing the interest of the client in operations of a public facility, will receive/unload customer vehicles of waste and properly document all receivables. Will provide customer service and technical assistance to all customers. Will evaluate, classify, segregate and package waste in accordance with all Federal, State and local rules and regulations and in compliance with existing safety protocols and standard operating procedures. Will conduct all Lab Pack operations. Will pack small laboratory containers of chemical waste into larger containers for shipment. Will properly mark and label containers for shipment and complete manifests. Will operate a hand truck, forklift, truck and other heavy equipment. Will input data into various tracking programs and provide/prepare required reports. Will participate in off-site collection events including transitioning through Canada. Will perform general housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned.
•Education equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree prefered , consideration given for related work experience in waste Management industry demonstrating sound knowledge in working with chemicals and chemical lab packing. Requires obtaining and maintaing Hazwoper certification. Demonstrates ability to operate company vehicle in accordance with all Federal, State regulations and company safety trainings and protocols. Requires ability to transit through the country of Canada with a valid Passport or enhanced drivers license. Will demonstrate the ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a small team envronment with little supervision.
