Position Description:
The warehouse supervisor will be in charge of managing incoming and outgoing waste shipments according to DOT, DEP, and EPA regulations. They will be in charge of ordering supplies and keeping an up to date inventory. Other essential duties will include supervising warehouse staff during loading and unloading of trucks, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment, and training warehouse personnel.


Job Responsibilities:
Accept incoming waste, reconciling manifests and logging 10-day waste.
Monitor 10-day transfer waste and schedule outbound loads with vendors.
Tracking all waste in and out of facility.
Train new and existing employees on all safety and compliance programs.
Order and maintain full inventory including, supplies, ppe’s and material handling equipments.
Prepare and load truck with supplies for daily routes as well as moving trucks/trailers to and from dock area.
Planning and prioritizing work load on a daily basis.
Ability to communicate effectively with all team member and leadership team.
Daily and Weekly Inspections of waste storage areas, including10-day transfer waste
Other duties as directed by facility manager

Position Requirements:
Education and Experience Required
Education equivalent to graduation from High school, or GED equivalent; some college preferred.
Three or more years experience in the Environmental Field.
Demonstrates knowledge of Hazardous Materials, DOT, OSHA and EPA Regulations. 40 hr HAZWOPER certification required.
May require a current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Demonstrates knowledge of computer software applications to include spreadsheets and word processing.
Demonstrates knowledge of inventory management and routing and re-routing.
