The Marketing Strategist is responsible for setting the approach, strategy and messaging in a target market segment so that organizational objectives can be met, by combining deep understanding of the segment (client needs, competitors, regulatory environment), insight from key industry contacts, detailed data analysis, knowledge of ComSol’s product/service capabilities and input from internal stakeholders.
The Strategist is responsible for managing the roadmap for Marketing intiatives and competitive positioning.
• Sales enablement. Ensuring the Sales Teams have the knowledge of the target market, market conditions, product/service messaging and competitive differentiators to optimize every interaction with buyers and clients.
• Thought leadership. Be a recognized industry subject matter expert by building and delivering compelling positioning, strategic messaging and leadership proof points improving ComSol’s market position, competitive advantage and business results through traditional in-person and social media channels
•Portfolio management. Collaborating with Sales, Product and Operations to continuously assess the viability and profitability of the products and services offered by ComSol. Adjusting the messaging, packaging and go-to-market as needed
•Voice of the Customer. Engaging with clients during sales cycles, industry events, focus groups and user conferences to understand buyer goals, validate messaging and provide feedback to the business on buyer needs.
The Strategist will work in close collaboration with the Marketing Team and with other internal stakeholders to create a cohesive marketing strategy that is designed to land new business, expand existing business, protect the current client base and launch new products/services. This includes helping to establish the marketing budget, managing to that budget, providing input into the marketing calendar, being available as a subject matter expert, speaking at industry events and other related duties
1) Apply portfolio, buyer, segment and routes-to-market expertise to develop the go-to-market strategy for best reaching target markets, develop messaging and content to drive lead generation
2)Partner across marketing, product and sales ecosystems to continuously optimize execution and business results
3)Create messaging and content for healthcare sales and guide the creation of sales tools that align with the sale process and support the sales teams in all phases of the buying cycle
4)Work with internal ecosystem to distill benefits into core marketing messages as well as pricing and packaging strategies
5)Research and stay abreast of the latest trends in the target market incorporating those findings into messaging, overall strategies, content and training materials
6)Speak/present at industry events, actively participate in industry social media, network with recognized influencers/experts, write blogs for industry publications as well as for company websites
