We are currently seeking a Truck Mechanic to be responsible for the maintenance
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Repair and maintain medium and heavy diesel trucks and tractors.
•Repair and maintain trailers.
•Complete vehicle repairs as well as PM services.
•Maintain vehicle electrical and hydraulic systems.
•Perform engine and chassis checks.
•Must complete all repairs start to finish in a timely manner.
•Document troubleshooting and repair activities.
•Maintain vehicle repair and service documentation.
•Work inside service shop and outdoors.
•Performs other related duties as required or requested.
Education and Experience:
•Education equivalent to graduation from high school or GED.
•Minimum 5 years of progressive experience as a medium/heavy truck mechanic, including maintenance of diesel engines and associated electrical and hydraulic systems.
•ASE Certification in medium and heavy trucks required.
•Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations required.
