Provide operational and administrative support to the Operations and Transportation Department in support of Environmental Solutions daily activities. Conduct standard scheduling, compliant manifest creation, and support for client requests.
•Perform scheduling, order creation and manifest generation for inbound and outbound shipments. Ensures accuracy of all orders in Stericycle’s internal systems. Review all items and proof data for accuracy. Maintain a organized schedule and work environment.
•Fulfill client and off-site team member requests for print support, order creation, and witness scheduling. Communicate updates and respond to questions on a timely basis.
• Fulfill warehouse requests for labels and ensure all waste is labeled compliantly.
• Perform standard filing and updating of inbound and outbound orders in Stericycle internal systems.
•Participate in special projects within the Transportation or Operations team to support ongoing activity in ESol on an as needed basis. The project responsibilities may or may not include internal order creation, spreadsheet updating or scheduling.
•Consistently communicate in a positive manner via email with clients, Operations team members, vendors and off-site Stericycle team members on a daily basis regarding requests for information.
•Perform other duties as assigned, which are consistent with the operation and improvement of the department.
•High school diploma required and a minimum of two years business or customer service experience preferred. Demonstrating the ability to provide excellent customer and administrative skills.
• Two or more years of excellent support experience in a customer service/professional environment. Minimum of one year experience in transportation or logistics preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills are essential.
• Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word
•May be required to work some evenings and weekends.
