Currently we are seeking a Product Manager in either our Chicago or Bannockburn office.
The Product Manager will be responsible for designing marketing strategies to support and grow Stericycle’s small-quantity medical waste and compliance training portfolio of services. To drive innovation and profitability for this book of business, the product manager will leverage deep understanding of the segment (client needs, competitors, regulatory environment), detailed data analysis, knowledge of Stericycle’s product and service capabilities, and input from internal stakeholders.
Key Job Activities:
Collaborate with others across the organization to continuously assess the viability and profitability of Stericycle’s small-quantity medical waste portfolio. Design and execute recommendations for product development and optimization.
Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of market/segment needs and trends through competitive research, strategic partnerships, and cultivating relationships with key customers and industry contacts.
Lead cross-functional teams to execute product development and marketing strategies. Includes championing technology initiatives and participating in business transformation.
Responsible for leading financial long-range planning for the small-quantity medical waste book of business. Subject matter expert to all departments within the organization for this customer segment.
Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Business - Marketing, Management, Finance, Product Development, or related degree. Five or more years of experience in product management, marketing communications, or the equivalent in related work experience.
Direct experience with market research, voice of customer, product development, and project management across multiple industries and customer segments.
Experience in general brand management and aligning products and services to customer needs through continuous improvement and innovation.
