With a focus on original content creation and content curation, the Marketing Associate coordinates, assists with, and executes internal and external marketing initiatives for the Stericycle Communication & Related Services business unit, working across all vertical markets and industries, both in the US and internationally, with the purpose of increasing awareness in the marketplace and driving lead generation.
Key Job Activities:
Write compelling content to include case studies, blog posts, social media posts, emails, whitepapers, ebooks, webinars, website content, tip sheets, case studies, video story boards, presentations, and other collateral as appropriate. Collaborate with design and digital team members to bring content to life, ensuring messaging and design are complimentary.
Coordinate the execution of and create content for multi-channel marketing strategies that support greater business objectives, contribute to lead generation, support the sales organization, and build brand awareness. This includes but is not limited to content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, website marketing, paid search marketing, event support, thought leadership, sales enablement, etc.
Work closely with product marketing team and marketing operations team to create a collective content marketing calendar that contributes to and/or provides ongoing planned support of sales team needs, lead generation initiatives, ongoing digital accessibility and engagement (SEO, social media, mobile, etc.), and beyond. Execute and prioritize work according to the calendar.
Collaborate with the marketing team, product marketing team, and sales team to define what content and what content delivery mechanism will drive brand and ultimately customer demand.
Collaborate with digital marketing team to publish or deploy content, including but not limited to, assisting with email creation, publishing content on the web, social media management, etc.
Staying up to date on content marketing and digital engagement best practices and providing ongoing recommendations for creating highly-consumable, engaging, and sharable content.
Education equivalent to Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, or English.
Three or more years of B2B marketing and/or advertising experience, demonstrating strong communication skills to interact with internal/external stakeholders.
Demonstrates good Microsoft Office skills and Solid PC software skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs.
Basic knowledge of Salesforce.com, Marketing Automation tools such as HubSpot or Marketo, social media management platforms. Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress skills preferred.
