Position Description:

The Director of Enterprise Performance Management – Center of Excellence is a key member of the Global Finance team and will develop and implement strategic solutions for the Finance function as part of our multiyear Business Transformation. The Director will enable better decision-making capabilities, increase productivity and provide a platform for increased growth of the business. In this new role, the Director will oversee the financial planning and reporting tool, finance data management and governance, and the development of new applications to support improvements in our core finance processes. This role partners with cross functional groups within Finance, Accounting, and Business Intelligence/IT to evaluate, enhance and deliver world class integrated Enterprise Performance Management solutions.

In partnership with the Financial Leadership Team, set the vision and develop the strategic direction for the Finance Enterprise Performance Management team.

Provide systems and applications knowledge in evaluating and improving current business processes. Provide functional and technical direction for solution options around specific business requirements and guidance around cross-module dependencies and impacts.

Maintain regular and ongoing configuration of reporting tools consisting of Actual Consolidation, Budgets, Forecasts, Management Reporting, and External / SEC Reporting.

Maintain data integrity by assessing, recommending, and implementing appropriate controls and governing the Master Data Management change control processes (i.e. changes in entities, profit centers, cost centers, chart of accounts, and standard reporting formats) as part of the Enterprise Master Data Governance program.

Facilitate the establishment of daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements and provide regular status reporting to management. Support in the investigation, testing and resolution of reported application issues. Interact with technical/development professionals in the design and support of required specific customizations, interfaces and extensions. Ensures technical training/support and knowledge is transitioned to support functions.

Establish links between various transformation initiatives and business strategies using methods/approaches such as capability assessment, business/financial analysis, process management and re-design, organizational assessment and stakeholder management.

Work directly with key stakeholders and business partners to drive improvements in core financial processes such as month end close, consolidations, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.

Foster continuous improvement mindset to drive change, improve access to critical information and enhance decision support capabilities across finance.

Build out an EPM team and center of excellence (COE).

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or the equivalent in related work experience demonstrating knowledge of corporate financial and control functions. (MBA preferred)

CPA Certification a plus but not required.

Ten or more years of effectively leading large, complex programs with significant change impact across organizations, preferably in finance.

Significant experience with Consolidation/Budgeting tools required (i.e. SAP BPC (preferred), Hyperion, Cognos TM1, Outlooksoft, Anaplan, etc.).

Deep experience with developing the requirements for implementation of technology/tools as an enabler of financial processes.

Experience converting/mapping data from legacy systems is a plus.

Experience working with data analytics tools, programming languages (VBA/SQL), or machine learning is a plus.
