The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Software Design team. The Software Design team is responsible for working with multiple stakeholders to generate requirements and document system designs for Archway’s wealth management technology solutions, as well as Archway’s data integration and reporting platforms. The ideal candidate must have an interest in accounting or finance and technology as well as a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do:

›        Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients and other analysts in  creating functional specifications

›        Collaborate with Software Development team to determine back end requirements

›        Define scope of product enhancement requests

›        Make decisions around creative UI design, while adhering to company standards

›        Conduct root cause analysis

›        Author specifications for both general and client-specific reports

›        Facilitate discovery sessions with internal stakeholders

›        Manage the integration process with outside data providers (custodians, banks, etc.), including obtaining files and definitions; analysis and interpretation of data; integration specification writing; and testing

›        Participate in the software testing process, including test case writing

›        Participate in the review of peers’ work

What you bring to the table:

›        Bachelor’s degree in general business or related field required, accounting or technology preferred

›        For recent graduates: minimum GPA of 3.0 on 4.0 scale required

›        Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office required

›        Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service required

›        Strong analytical skills

›        Business analysis/system design experience helpful

›        Familiar with accounting principles and finance terminology

›        Ability to communicate effectively and professionally conceptual ideas and design rationale

›        Ability to adapt and prioritize changing project priorities, tasks and timelines

›        Ability to work both collaboratively and independently

›        Rigorous attention to detail

›        Highly self-motivated and able to work under pressure

›        Experience with wireframe tools is helpful
