SEI Archway is seeking an Investment Accounting Analyst to join the Client Relations team. The Client Relations team is responsible for ensuring client retention through ongoing technology and accounting consulting services alongside ongoing outsourced investment reconciliation services. The ideal candidate must have a background in finance, accounting or comparable field of study as well as an interest in technology and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Gain a detailed understanding of the client’s accounting and investment operations
• Serve as a technology and accounting consultant to ensure all client needs are met
• Complete daily and monthly reconciliation of client account reconciliation services across custodians and alternative investment accounts, including tax basis reconciliation
• Serve as relationship manager to ensure the client is comfortable and satisfied
• Process daily activity files received from data providers and analyzing exceptions
• Trouble-shoot complex exceptions and working closely with Product Support team to identify resolutions with clients
• Become a system expert in order to speak fully to the capabilities of the service
• Manually classify transactional data inputs for automated processing
• Identify process and technology improvement opportunities
• Addressing client questions and responding to client communication in a timely manner
• Assess data input against requirements and taking appropriate action



• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• For recent graduates: minimum GPA of 3.0 on 4.0 scale required
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service required
• Two years of experience in in accounting, finance or back-office operations functions (ideally Securities Services or Securities Reconciliation) is strongly preferred
• Familiar with investment terminology, financial instruments, market practices and reporting of financial data
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients, vendors, team members and management
• Ability to comprehend and document business processes and workflows
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Rigorous attention to detail
• Ability to adapt and prioritize changing project priorities, tasks and timelines
• Ability to take ownership of a task and see it through from inception to completion
• Highly self-motivated and able to work under pressure
