SEI Archway is seeking a SQL Developer to join the Product Development team. The Product Development team is responsible for developing new functionality within Archway’s wealth management technology solutions, as well as SEI Archway’s data integration and reporting platforms. The ideal candidate must have a background in Computer Science or comparable field of study as well as an interest in technology and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and test complex client-facing reporting output
• Design and build framework models and standard report templates
• Provide support to clients who are designing and building their own reports using pre-defined data models
• Tune SQL queries performance by improving overall query design, indexing and query plan analysis and refactoring
• Follow internal processes and procedures
• Investigate and resolve reported defects
• Work closely with other team members to coordinate assignments and communicate status



• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering and/or related field required
• Three years of prior work experience creating, managing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures and functions preferred
• Two years of experience with SSRS 2008 or higher required
• Strong understanding of T-SQL and relational database design
• Background in accounting/finance preferred
• Experience in Adobe Flex preferred
• Experience with scripting languages preferred
• Rigorous attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
• Ability to adapt and prioritize changing project priorities, tasks and timelines
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to take ownership of a task and see it through from inception to completion
