SEI Archway is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Product Development team. The Product Development team is responsible for developing new functionality within Archway’s wealth management technology solutions, as well as SEI Archway’s data integration and reporting platforms. The ideal candidate must have a background in Computer Science or comparable field of study as well as an interest in technology and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, test and document applications that use Microsoft and other industry standard technologies
• Perform maintenance functions for application side of software
• Implement new functionalities for software applications
• Meet the requirements and deadlines established for a given project
• Follow internal processes and procedures
• Investigate and resolve reported defects
• Work closely with other team members to coordinate assignments and communicate status



• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering and/or related field required
• One year prior experience with development in C# .NET, Java, or an enterprise Angular 2+ application required
• One year of prior experience with SQL Server 2008 or 2012 and Transact-SQL preferred
• Fundamental understanding of accounting principles and investment terminology preferred
• Experience with XML/XSD, SOAP and REST preferred
• Experience with Flex preferred
• Experience with ASP .Net Web Services and WCF preferred
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Ability to build quality systems with unit and/or white box testing
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
• Rigorous attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
• Ability to adapt and prioritize changing project priorities, tasks and timelines
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Highly self-motivated and able to work under pressure
