Support senior analysts and supervision in the development of analyses, preparation of financial and other reports, development and maintenance of intermediate-level computer models/codes, and preparation and rendering of the corporate budget. Must be able to explain complex information to others in a professional manner. Assignments are usually performed with a moderate level of guidance. Ideas are supported by gathering information, analyzing options, and proposing well thought out plans. Must possess a broader view of the company, its processes, and customers, and be able to solve a range of problems. Generally, the work performed by this position can only be accomplished in an efficient and timely manner through the effective use of information systems.
Essential Job Tasks:
Develops the annual corporate budget by month plus 2 planning years for the Santee Cooper electric and water systems to support the needs of the businesses. Updates models and maintain all budget-related software and interfaces used in conjunction with other systems within the corporate Financial Information System, including extensive work in the Vena environment. Consolidates, analyzes, and reports the operations, maintenance, and capital components of approximately 200 provider budgets, including the consolidation of data and year-end tasks. Prepares all budget-related training for online and classroom presentations, including updating all materials for known changes as enhancements are made to our systems. Perform projects such as preparing of management presentations, providing all levels of management with actual and budget information, and reconciling our data with other systems' reports throughout the company. Maintains an effective working relationship with all users and levels of management throughout the company.

Financial Analyst I Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study required.
Compensation Information: $52,340 - $65,420 (min. - mid.)
Financial Analyst II Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study + 2 years experience required.
Compensation Information: $65,080 -$81,350 (min. - mid.)
