Responsible for the receipt, storage, issue, transfer and delivery functions of stock and non-stock material for Transportation Services. Ensures all stock and stocking areas are identified, organized, and maintained in a uniform and safe manner. Responsible for the direct procurement of non-stock automotive and equipment repair parts for Transportation Services valued at < = $2,500.
Essential Job Tasks: Ientifies, locates, and purchases non-stock fleet and equipment repair parts and supplies valued at < =$2,500 in a cost effective, timely manner by utilizing a Corporate Purchasing Card or creating Limited Purchase Orders. Creates purchase requisitions for items > $2,500. Picks, prepares, and delivers issue and transfer material by scheduled customer date. Ensures outgoing material is accurate, complete, labeled, and securely packaged. Maintains inventory at a minimum 97.0% item accuracy. Ensures inventory is received, stored, and issued based on FIFO inventory rotation. Reconciles inventory and system data entry errors through root cause analysis. Receives, inspects, processes, and places in inventory all incoming stock material. Processes discrepancies and notifies appropriate requisitioner, Distribution Forecast Analyst, or Buyer. Ensures receipts are processed within the same working day. Acts as back-up to the Senior Logistics and Inventory Specialist as needed to cover occasions when they are not available. Ensures appropriate housekeeping is maintained in all work and storage areas.

Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist A High School Diploma/GED +5 years of experience or Associate's Degree +4 years of experience in shipping, receiving, and stores within a computerized inventory environment required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows based PC applications. A valid driver's license and forklift operators certification is required. Storage Tank Class A operator certification required after one year of hire date.
Compensation Information $23.40 - $29.20 (min-mid)
Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist B High School Diploma/GED +2 years of experience or Associate's Degree +1 year of experience in shipping, receiving, and stores within a computerized inventory environment required. Storage Tank Class C operator certification required after one year of hire date.
Compensation Information $19.05 - $23.80 (min-mid)
Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist C High School Diploma/GED required. Storage Tank Class C operator certification required after one year of hire date.
Compensation Information $17.15 - $21.40 (min-mid)
