Ensure safe environment on the designated swimming area. Keep beach front neat and clean at all times. Check safety equipment to ensure it is in good working order on a daily basis. Check water balance during shift and make necessary adjustments. Clean restrooms on an hourly basis and the shelter area daily. Monitor swimmers at all times and provide assistance when needed. Prevent or stop any horseplay or unsafe actions within the swimming area. Know, understand, and follow all of Santee Cooper's policies, procedures, and standards. Maintain professional manner at all times.
The qualified candidate must have all certifications listed below:
lifeguard certification first aid certification CPR certification
In addition the candidate must:
be at least 16 years old by June 2024 enrolled full time in high school or college/technical school must have a valid driver's license successfully undergo pre-employment physical and drug screen
This position is for a Summer Internship located slightly west of Charleston in the city of Moncks Corner, South Carolina. Candidate will work 40 hours per week.

Salary Range
$15.00 per hour
