The primary responsibilities of a Records Management Intern is to:

  • conduct research regarding records retention
  • inventory physical records and maintain physical records
  • analyze records

  • ECM data entry, update and maintenance,  and records destruction
  • assist Records Management staff as needed

  • The qualified candidate must:

  • have the ability to follow instructions
  • have general knowledge of computers
  • familiar with conducting research
  • internet searching experience

  • In addition the candidate must:
  • Have completed their first year at a 4-year college or 2-year college (transfer program).
  • Be pursuing a degree in Law, Library Science, Business, Management or a related field.
  • Have a valid driver's license.
  • Successfully undergo pre-employment physical and drug screen.

  • This position is for a Summer Internship at our headquarters located slightly west of Charleston in the city of Moncks Corner, South Carolina.  This internship begins May 20, 2024.  Candidate will work 40 hours per week for a period of 10-12 weeks.

    Salary Range
    Rising Sophomore  $17.00 per hour
    Rising Junior  $18.00 per hour
    Rising Senior  $19.00 per hour
