In order to give IT Analyst Interns a broad knowledge of IT, rotations will occur throughout the summer for the following tasks:
Performs basic programming and troubleshooting for multiple application areas using SQL, PL/SQL, Java, and .Net on both purchased applications and custom developed applications. Performs PC and peripheral equipment upgrades/repairs by installing, testing and troubleshooting end user with the direction from the Desktop Technician.Installs, configures, tests, and troubleshoots hardware, software, networked peripheral devices and software products.Maintains hardware and software inventory.Work with the end users on Support Center calls and provide Level 1 on-site user support.
The qualified candidate must have: good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills needed to work effectively with management, clients, team members, and various IT technical personnel general programming knowledge is desired and/or an understanding of desktop and network operating systems, desktop hardware and peripherals is desired
In addition the candidate must: Have completed their first year at a 4-year college. Be pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (ABET accredited schools are preferred). Other Computer Science related degrees and internship experience will be considered. Successfully undergo pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Housing is not provided
This position is for a Summer Internship at our headquarters located slightly west of Charleston in the city of Moncks Corner, South Carolina. This internship begins May 20, 2024. Candidate will work 40 hours per week for a period of 10-12 weeks.

Salary Range Rising Sophomore $21.00 per hour Rising Junior $22.00 per hour Rising Senior $23.00 per hour
