The primary responsibility of an Engineering Intern in Technical Services is to provide less complex engineering assistance to the generating stations for large scale projects and assignments. Provides necessary skills to maintain availability and efficiency of station equipment.
The qualified candidate must: have the ability to follow instructions have general knowledge of computers and associated programs such as Excel and Word
In addition the candidate must: Have completed their first year at a 4-year college or 2-year college (transfer program). Be pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil at an EAC/ABET accredited school. Have a valid driver's license. Successfully undergo pre-employment physical and drug screen.
This position is for a Summer Internship at our Cross Generating Station located at 553 Cross Station Road, Cross, South Carolina. This internship begins May 20, 2024. Candidate will work 40 hours per week for a period of 10-12 weeks.
