This position is responsible for providing strategic, data-driven analytics and tools to the organization. This role will develop and implement statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports. The position will identify and recommend new ways to streamline business processes by using data to create models that depict trends in corporate data. This role will work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions. This role will also provide recommendations for data analytic framework tools and maintain once implemented.
Additionally this position will:
Work with stakeholders to assess business needs, potential risks and provide analytical solutions.
Analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
Translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.

Experience in the following areas is preferred:
Experience querying databases and using data analytics computer languages - R, Python, RegExp, and SAS.
Experience creating and using advanced natural language processing, machine learning algorithms, and statistical methods: stochastic, regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks.
Skilled at queries, data mining, data exploratory analysis, data visualization, report writing, and presenting findings to all levels of a management.
Data Warehousing - Data analysis, extract transformation and load scripting, data modeling using star schema design techniques.
Enterprise Applications – Financial, GIS, Asset Management, Work Management, Customer Care and Billing, Content Management, Human Resources, Payroll, and Oracle Business Intelligence.
Essential job tasks:
Performs complex data analysis: uses statistical and business intelligence methodology to deliver to the organization data-driven, future-facing insights that better drive today's business strategy and provide high-impact results in the future; develops reporting tools for planning and effectiveness; provides data visualization tools for enhanced organizational communication and understanding. Effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines as required. Project management experience and proficiency with PM methodology. Manages and leads medium to large multi-functional project teams according to the Project Management Office (PMO) standards that solve complex business needs. Future-focused multi-year analytics development: builds a Corporate Analytics Maturity Model (designs & implements descriptive, prescriptive and predictive analytics methodology). Communication through informing and reporting: develops multi-year communication plans for data analytics services and educating/informing management system on how to use analytic reporting tools to improve decision effectiveness. Communication with all levels of leadership as well as individual employees is essential. Learning & Development: continually learn new technology, relevant statistical analysis practices and business intelligence tools and methodologies to align Data Warehouse and Analytics with business objectives and strategies.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering (from an ABET accredited school), Computer Science or related field with six years experience required. PMP Certification preferred.
