Job Posting: Internal and External

  • Primarily responsible for oversight of Santee Cooper’s Compliance program including data submittals, guided self-certifications, maintenance of evidence, investigations (internal and external), self-reports, and mitigation plans.
  • Responsible for coordination of compliance audits by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), and the Southeastern Electric Reliability Corporation (SERC).
  • Work with business unit SMEs to develop internal controls and ensure new NERC Standards and Requirements are implemented prior to the effective date.
  • Monitor changing standards and industry events and communicate to SMEs relevant information.
  • Review all relevant communications from FERC, NERC, and SERC and distribute to appropriate SMEs with the company.
  • This position may direct or train Compliance Specialist I or II.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering,  Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline with a minimum of eight years experience in Cyber Security.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred.

    Salary range:
    95,840-119,800 (min-mid)
