Primarily responsible for oversight of Santee Cooper’s Compliance program including data submittals, guided self-certifications, maintenance of evidence, investigations (internal and external), self-reports, and mitigation plans. Responsible for coordination of compliance audits by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), and the Southeastern Electric Reliability Corporation (SERC). Work with business unit SMEs to develop internal controls and ensure new NERC Standards and Requirements are implemented prior to the effective date.Monitor changing standards and industry events and communicate to SMEs relevant information. Review all relevant communications from FERC, NERC, and SERC and distribute to appropriate SMEs with the company. This position may direct or train Compliance Specialist I or II.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline with a minimum of eight years experience in Cyber Security. Supervisory experience preferred. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred.
