In-depth knowledge to design, develop, modify, adapt, and implement short and long-term solutions for technology services needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure. Provides support in solving technical issues including evaluating, implementing and supporting new technology solutions as they become practical. Ownership of Citrix application delivery environments including design, documentation, configuration, implementation, incident management, monitoring, senior level troubleshooting/Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and system upgrades. Conduct ongoing Citrix technology assessments. Provides technical expertise to plan and manage supported infrastructure components such as application, database and web server hardware and operating systems, SAN and iSCSI storage, server and storage virtualization, data replication, provisioning, automated operations, and network control software, adapters and servers. Experience or capacity to understand performance and condition monitoring systems and technologies. May be required to lead small to mid-size project teams, performing all project management duties. Administers remote access as it relates to the Citrix Netscaler. Participate in on-call rotation. Must report to Moncks Corner location.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related degree with five years experience in the Information Technology field is required.
Good working knowledge and experience of:
Hardware/Software – Experience supporting various Operating Systems (Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008, RedHat Linux), Dell Servers in an enterprise-level Active Directory environment. Experience supporting a Citrix infrastructure including, but not limit to, XenApp (6.5/7.x), Storefront (3.x), Receiver (4.x) and NetScaler (NetScaler Gateway, load balancing and SSL VPN). Storage Area Networks - SAN Fibre Channel, Fibre Channel over Ethernet and iSCSI connectivity and zoning, EMC storage arrays, Dell iSCSI storage arrays, storage replication, data encryption. Backup/Recovery/Virtualization Technologies. Security Service – Apply application and operating system hardening recommendations; Implement security best practices for applications and their components; Discover, assess, and resolve application vulnerabilities and exploits. Fundamental knowledge of both hardware and software firewalls. Coordinate and assist in actions to install, configure, document, troubleshoot and maintain application environments. Experience with PowerShell scripting (preferred). Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
