Position Description:
Ryerson has an opportunity for a Customer Engagement Specialist position. As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring orders are correctly processed with minimal assistance, developing consistent customer accounts, by making outbound/inbound sales calls.

Roles and Responsibilities:
▪ Maintain territory/account with a strategic approach while managing resources
▪ Assists in training new team members
▪ Assists in creating account development plans
▪ Performs inventory management for customer specific material
▪ Communicates with operations team and may serve as a production meeting representative
▪ Occasional face-to-face customer interaction and moderate authority/opportunity to set and negotiate product/service terms
▪ All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
Position Requirements:
▪ Bachelor's Degree is preferred
▪ 1-3 years prior sales or metal industry experience preferred
▪ Solid understanding of product offerings, ERP system and markets served
▪ Minimal travel required. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected with advance notice.
