Position Description:
Ryerson has an opportunity for a Procurement Specialist. As a Procurement Specialist, you are responsible for procurement and management of service center inventory levels to meet availability supply goals and demands.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Manage inventory for multiple locations for MRP requirements to prescribed financial targets
• Manage inventory requirements for contract business including integration with sales team.
• Develop sourcing of materials for client specific requirements in a timely manner
• Administration of data tables used in the automation of purchasing activities
• Manage all aspects of sourcing including maintenance of purchasing documents and analysis of supply chain
•All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
Position Requirements:
• Proficient in MS Office including Access
• 2-3 years purchasing, Sales and Supply chain experience preferred
• Able to work onsite at any Ryerson facility in our Western Region
• Time management skills.
• Analytic skills including electronic data management
• Knowledge of SAP software a plus
• Metals experience a plus
Salary: $61,730.42-$77,163.03 annually starting salary higher than $61,730.42 is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale
