Assist in the direction of personnel and activities of the Claims operation, including general liability, insurance, claims management, litigation, claims research and analysis. Protection of the Company’s assets by providing guidance to staff through the execution and management of field investigations. Make presentations to Senior Management regarding investigations with high impact potential. Assist in the effective implementation of strategic initiatives, business goals and objectives. Promote an environment of diversity and high productivity. Temporarily fill in for the Manager Claims. Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.Note; There are two openings to fill, Mays landing NJ and Forestville MD.
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field. 5-8 years of experience in investigations, insurance or claims administration, or in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, 9-12 years of relevant experience. One year of supervisory or managerial experience. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of conflict management and proven skills in coaching, ability to build consensus, establish trust and communicate change.
