The Purchasing Quality Analyst is responsible for the examination and analysis of request to purchase forms, request for purchase orders, purchase order documents, receiving receipts, return authorization and shipping records and all other related documents in order to verify that all procedures and processes have been followed and to verify that all orders and returns are valid.
The Purchasing Quality Analyst will be responsible for promptly identifying instances of a failure to follow proper procedures by the PeriOp staff, OR Purchasing and Receiving teams, questionable purchase orders, deliveries and returns, approvals to receive deliveries in Lawson and associated payments, and will submit reports outlying issues to the Director of the Supply Chain, the Corp. Director of PeriOperative Services, and the HUP CFO.
The Purchase Quality Analyst is also responsible for managing the CMS warranty credit process, including performing the due diligence with vendors and PeriOp staff, maintaining accurate logs to be made available to the FDA and other internal and external auditing and regulatory groups.
The Purchasing Quality Analyst is responsible for managing product and equipment recalls (FDA and manufacturing voluntary recalls) for PeriOperative services, including maintaining all necessary documentation and necessary logs
Duties as assigned by the Director of Supply Chain.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field; Five or more years of experience and/or formal training in accounting, auditing and regulatory compliance. Designation as a CPA or CIA, preferred but not required.
Strong computer skills, collaboration skills and ethical conduct; exceptional attention to detail and business acumen; excellent analytical skills and independent judgment; proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations. Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports.
