Provide evidence-based, time-efficient psychotherapy services for general adult patients in an outpatient setting. This position will function as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and will involve case consultation regarding individual patients. Document per regulatory/UPHS standards and attend all appropriate staff meetings.
Licensure or certification as a counselor, psychologist, social worker, registered nurse or registered nurse practitioner in the state where employed.
Graduate degree in any of the following: social work, nursing, counseling or psychology; Five years of experience providing crisis or and/or utilization management services
LCSW a must.
The Department of Psychiatry at Penn Medicine is seeking LCSW-level clinicians to serve as psychotherapists and provide evidence-based mental health treatment in a new multidisciplinary behavioral health clinic. The treatment model is a team-centered approach that will consist of psychotherapists, a nurse practitioner, and a psychiatrist to provide time effective treatment for both our West Philadelphia community and our employees of the Health System and the University. Psychotherapists will implement time-focused (12-16 sessions), evidence-based, and goal-oriented therapy for adults in an outpatient setting. Psychotherapy will be overseen by a licensed clinical psychologist and opportunities will be provided to learn new evidence-based treatment approaches.
