The Nursing Administrative Coordinator (NAC):
-Resolves problems that require an administrative decision or intervention in conjunction with hospital policies and procedures.
-Collaborates with Clinical Directors, associate administrators, and departmental directors in decisions that affect patient care and hospital functioning.
-Organizes and facilitate nightly unit huddles for safety and quality
-Facilitates night shift Shared Governance Council
-Coordinates off shift RRT and Code teams
-Coordinates high risk rounds
-Assesses all patients in restraints and one on ones for appropriateness and safety
-Facilitates survey readiness for the off shift
-Coordinates quality and patient safety grand rounds monthly
• Must have Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing, at time of hire. MSN preferred
• Must have 5 or more years in direct patient care, 3 years hospital nursing experience, and 1 year of nursing supervisory experience. Inpatient nurse manager and strong charge nurse experience is acceptable
• Must possess active Pennsylvania RN License, at time of hire
• Must possess active BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications, as a healthcare provider as per the American Heart Association, at time of hire
