Position Description:
The Accountant works closely with the Accounting Supervisor in maintaining the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department.  Responsible for the completion of monthly financial statement packages.  Will process and maintain Capital Expenditure Requests and provide financial support to entity department directors.  In addition, provides analytical services and financial reporting for the monthly close and assist in any special projects as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
The qualified candidate must possess a BBA Accounting from an accredited institution.  Eligible candidates must have at least 1 to 3 years experience in accounting or finance. Experience with Capital Accounting and Budgeting or Fixed Asset Accounting and with the Lawson (or similar) General Ledger, Activities and Purchasing/Accounts Payable and Asset Management Information System modules a plus.  Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and Outlook are critical tools in day-to-day business so strong skills are important.
