Ability to deliver safe and effective care to movement disorder patients. Demonstrates flexibility to function in multiple roles, such as educator, advocate, and coordinator. Demonstrates strong communications and organizational skills. Demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability for actions.
The NP collaborates with the physician in providing safe care with optimal outcomes for movement disorder patients. The NP must have acquired the necessary knowledge, skills, and judgment specific to clinical practice. Demonstrates competence in the assessment, treatment, and care of patients serviced.
Current PA RN & CRNP License required.
National Certification as a nurse practitioner.
Completed MSN Degree
Neuroscience Nursing (CNRN) preferred.
No experience as a Nurse Practitioner required but preferred experience as a nurse in a neuroscience setting.
