Penn Medicine is seeking a Neurology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Neuroscience service line in the Philadelphia suburbs. Our program is supportive of newly graduated APP’s interested in practicing general neurology. This Penn Neurology group is currently comprised of two physicians and one CRNP. This position is for an outpatient APP with two ambulatory practices in Sellersville and Chalfont that they will rotate between.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Keep track of pertinent procedure and laboratory results, discuss with physician, and returns call to family and patient regarding the results and plans.
• See follow up patients: Dementia, Parkinson’s, MS controlled patients, seizure, and headache.
• Assist with arranging appropriate follow-up for the patients.
• Answers and returns phone calls from established patients and their families and assess the needs of patient and family.
• Discuss the care plan with the physician and relay information to the family and patient.
The group is integrated into the Department of Neurology with the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and a part of the Penn Medicine Neurosciences Service Line.

Physician Assistant’s must be a graduate of a ARC-approved physician assistant program, eligible or certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants and eligible or certified by the PA State Board of Medicine.
Nurse Practitioner candidates will have a certificate of completion from an approved program for Nurse Practitioners and must be eligible for or certified by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Must be certified to work with all patient population age groups.
