The Department of Orthopedic Surgery is looking for a Physician Assistant to serve as a Per Diem float at their Penn Medicine University City Location location to assist with the coverage of other advanced practice providers as needed across other locations.
The Physician Assistant will be working as a practitioner of the health care team and they will perform medical history's, patient examinations, order and interpret laboratory tests and x rays and develop a diagnosis and treatment plan. They will coordinate care for the Orthopedic patients and will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services.
Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and a Master of Medical Science.
CPR/ BLS Certifications.
DEA.
PA license and NCCPA certificate.
Some Health Care experience is preferred.

Ability to use a personal computer and preferred familiarity with Epic, Microsoft Word, Internet functions, Voice mail and Email
