Position Description:
Penn Presbyterian Medical Center is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Masters Physician Assistant to work full time in their Cardiovascular Department-outpatient clinic.

The team consists of 8 NPs/PAs across the outpatient offices, 40+ physicians
and greater than 65,000 visits annually and 44,000 in outpatient testing visits.

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, while providing quality care across the continuum in collaboration with physicians, nursing staff and other members of the care team, will provide care for our patients in the ambulatory setting. This position requires a high level of independence but is well supported with a collaborative and multi-disciplinary practice model.

As the Clinical Coordinator, this advanced practice provider will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations for the PPMC based clinic in conjunction with the clinic managers. This Clinical Coordinator would be responsible for oversight of the outpatient practice providers. The clinic provides for care for patients in several subspecialties: general cardiology, invasive cardiology, vascular, heart failure and electrophysiology.

The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible to promote organizational values of patient and visitor satisfaction by demonstrating courtesy and respect for all their families, visitors, and other employees. Cares for patients in all age groups from young adults through geriatrics. Demonstrates competence in the assessment, treatment, and care of patients served.

Minimum Requirements:
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Masters Physician Assistant. Pennsylvania licensed required.

Minimum of 2 years Cardiology experience.
