Position Description:
The Patient Access Representative is responsible for computerized patient registration including obtainment and verification of all required
demographic and insurance information and the collection of payments at the Time of Service to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.
This position is also responsible for providing support to Cancer Center access areas and insurance authorization verification.

Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

2 Years of Related Work Experience in a Healthcare Setting Required

Additional Information:
Demonstrated knowledge of medical billing practices, medical terminology, and HIPAA regulations.

Demonstrated knowledge of Epic electronic medical record, Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Extensive knowledge of all managed care insurance and their procedures/regulations required

Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
