Position Description:
The Department of Radiation Oncology is looking for a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for their team.  Primary responsibility will be to see Radiation Oncology patient diagnosed with Breast and/or Gynecologic Oncology.

All CRNP/PA function under the guidelines as designed by the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center medical staff guidelines and are credentialed through that body. The CRNP/PA will be held accountable through a formal job description, delineation of privileges, and through their agreement with their collaborating physician and a Collaborative Practice Agreement. All clinical
work hours and associated requirements will be defined and managed under the direction of the collaborating physician/division designee, and within the Human Resource guidelines.  The Nurse Practitioner contributes to excellence in education, leadership, professional contribution and practice.

Minimum Requirements:
Licensed to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing Regulations

or

Licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine Regulations.

Prior to employment, the CRNP/PA must be reviewed by the Credentials Committee and approved by the Medical Board.

Certification as a CRNP or PA-C required at time of employment.

MSN or MHS required

PA and/or NJ RN licensure (RN) RN

PA and/or NJ CRNP licensure

PA and/or NJ Prescriptive Authority

National Board Certification, Women's Health Preferred.

BLS/CPR, as a healthcare provider as per the American Heart Association (For providers in the ambulatory setting)

ACLS (For providers in the acute care setting)

New Grad and Experienced candidates will be considered.
