Position Description:
Responsible for supervising Perioperative Assistants, Ortho Techs, Anesthesia Techs, Medical Secretaries, and Lead anesthesia tech.  Assumes 24-hour accountability for the operations of the operating rooms. This includes the provision of leadership to improve patient progression, continuous process improvement and achieving departmental goals.  Responsible for ensuring communication and implementation of interdepartmental/inter-professional relations, managing staff, equipment and inventory in the operating room.

Minimum Requirements:
Associate's Degree in Business Administration and 5+ years operating room/clinical operations.
COMMUNICATION: Ability to work effectively with a range of business, clinical, and academic leaders
COMMUNICATION: Demonstrated consultative, team building, and group facilitative skills
COMMUNICATION: Demonstrated customer service skills
COMMUNICATION: Demonstrated interpersonal/verbal communication skills
REGULATORY: Understanding of the Joint Commission and Department of Health process and standards
REGULATORY: Understanding of regulatory compliance
