APP needed for Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) In-patient Consult/Chronic Dialysis Service, rounding at the outpatient dialysis units and CKD group education and/or ambulatory clinic responsibilities in HUP Nephrology practice. Will assist in/supervise fellows with hemodialysis catheter placement. APP will work a mix of Inpatient and Outpatient duties as determined by need.
Graduate of a NLN- approved school of nursing or accredited Masters in Physician Assistant studies.
CRNP/PA licensure in the State of Pennsylvania.
Must have current ACLS certification.
Completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program.
National Certification Board is required.
Prior dialysis or ICU nursing experience is preferred.
Acute care certification preferred.
**Monday through Friday. 40 hours per week. Hours may be adjusted to meet the operational needs of the Department.
