The Department of Ob/Gyn is looking to fill a Per Diem opening with a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner in the Helen O. Dickens Center for Women's Health.
As a member of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology the primary purpose of this position is to help manage the care of uncomplicated gynecological and obstetrical patients in the outpatient setting while projecting a positive image of UPHS through excellent communication and customer service skills, to support patients/families, facility personnel and UPHS processes to ensure an excellent experience.
The Helen O. Dickens Center for Women's Health is an ambulatory site of the Clinical Practices of the University of Pennsylvania. The Center is committed to providing the highest level of comprehensive gynecological and obstetrical care and education to women within the Philadelphia community through every stage of their lives.
Current Pennsylvania RN license and Pennsylvania CRNP license
Board certified & Prescriptive Authority
RN, MSN required.
At least two years experience, Ob/Gyn preferred.
Position requires articulate, mature, self-directed highly motivated individual with a strong background in Ob/Gyn. Ability to work independently and also as part of a team. Must have good command of the English language. Demonstrate competence in the assessment, treatment and care of the specific patients served.
