Role Summary
In this role you will provide support to the pressure and measurement team to accomplish accurate, complete and timely documentation of capital construction work. You will assist with achieving 100% compliance by actively managing pipeline assets for appropriate inspection frequency. This role will review documentation to determine if appropriate standards were followed.
What You Will Do
Provide operations support related to accurate, complete and timely documentation of capital construction work and ensure accurate, complete and timely reconciliation and processing of contractor invoices and assists with financial forecasts.
Utilize JES, Maximo, Oracle, Markview, PowerPlant, ONE Map, Business Intelligence, SharePoint, and Excel to enter or verify data and prepare reports including completion reports & supporting documentation.
Compile, analyze, reconcile, and complete all tasks associated with closing a construction project and processing contractor invoices:
- Job orders and completion reports
- Designed versus constructed projects including as-builts
- Leakage and repair logs
- Service line documentation
- Pipeline data such as compliance records
- Major material
Communicate effectively with Field Operations, Engineering, GIS, and Property Accounting on quality of documentation and status of pending work.
Assist and support financial forecasting processes by analyzing project statuses and invoice timing.
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Employee may be required to perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
What You Will Need
Preferred Associate's Degree in business administration, other related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job related experience
Experience reviewing project or construction documentation and contractor invoices.
Experience in use and function of office equipment applicable to position including: computers, photocopiers, and applicable software listed under Essential Functions.
Experience with policies, procedures, and use of terminology applicable to position.
Experience reading and interpreting various types of manuals, forms, publications, maps and reports.
Experience interacting, advising and communicating effectively with internal and external customers.
Experience composing and preparing correspondence and reports.
Read and write fluently in English.
Certification/Licensing: Applicable driver's license.
Physical requirements: Mobility to travel in and around office facilities.
Communication requirements: Communicate and exchange information or instructions.
Visual requirements: Sufficient to perform job responsibilities.
