ASSISTANT PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER, MIT Technology Review, to support the marketing team’s growth strategies including coordinating product development priorities, supporting audience development initiatives, and executing tactics that deliver the best experience for customers and showcase the unique value that MIT Technology Review brings to the marketplace.  Responsibilities include coordinating, executing, and analyzing initiatives that drive demand and engage customers; supporting overall audience growth and brand development strategies in conjunction with editorial, analytics, event, and marketing teams; working with supervisor to analyze growth KPIs and align with revenue goals; working cross-functionally with editorial, design, web development, events, ad sales, and marketing to identify opportunities, execute brand initiatives, and maximize customer monetization; scheduling and deploying email marketing campaigns; aiding in managing social advertising campaigns; implementing initiatives to ensure products, packages, and features are communicated; executing marketing programs that drive engagement to TR’s website weekly reporting; and providing project management from inception to successful completion.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED:  B.A./B.S. in marketing, marketing communications, or related field; at least two years’ marketing experience (ideally focused on driving engagement and retention) for a web, online marketing agency, media, or digital publishing organization; understanding of analytics and audience targeting; multiplatform content experience across a variety of media (print, social, web, video, live events); ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment; excellent project management skills and ability to meet deadlines; keen interest in experimenting with new platforms; and effective verbal and written communication skills.  Working knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) and a specialty in at least one other social network (e.g., reddit, YouTube, Apple News, etc.) preferred.  Job #15905-O
