Posting Description

COORDINATOR OF CLUB SPORTS AND INTRAMURALS, DAPER Recreation, assists the Assistant Director of Intramural Sports, Club Sports, and Day Camp with organization, implementation, facility access, supervision, marketing, and evaluation of all programming, primarily focused on intramurals and club sport operations. Responsible for oversight of the revenue generating Esports room, intramural sports risk management, and intramural sport related disciplinary issues.  In charge of hiring and onboarding day camp staff and intramural officials. This position will interact on a consistent basis with students, student employees, club sport coaches, and student groups. Hours will vary slightly from the academic year and the summer months to meet operational needs. While on shift, his role has administrative responsibilities making sure all Club Sports and Intramural Sports programs have what they need to succeed. This role will also have POC (Point of Contact) responsibilities and will serve on the Recreational Sports Management Team.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: High School diploma or equivalent; a minimum of two years related experience recreation or similar sports setting; current First Aid and CPR/AED or BLS certification through the AHA or Red Cross; ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands; strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills; computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook; ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative and creativity. PREFERRED: Bachelor’s degree; or experience supervising intramural leagues or youth camp.

September 1st – May 31st Schedule: Sunday: 1:00pm - 9:00pm, Monday: 3:30pm – 11:30pm, Tuesday: 3:30pm – 11:30pm, Wednesday: 3:30pm -11:30pm, Thursday: Off, Friday: Off, Saturday: 1:00pm – 9:00pm. June 1st – August 31st Schedule: Sunday: Off, Monday: 10am – 6pm, Tuesday: 10am – 6pm, Wednesday: 10am – 6pm, Thursday: 10am – 6pm, Friday: 10am – 6pm, Saturday: Off
