Posting Description

PATIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE 1, Document Imaging Representative, is responsible for all functions related to medical records inclusive of but not limited to: ensuring the privacy of PHI and accuracy of clinical and non-clinical document review and uploading in the Electronic Medical Record; performing department wide quality audits; and collaborating across the department/service areas as needed.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: High School diploma or equivalent; a minimum of two years of experience in medical records management; knowledge of medical terminology; and strong understanding and adherence to compliance and privacy laws such as HIPAA regulations and health care facility confidentiality protocols; a high degree of accuracy to ensure subsequent retrieval of documents as possible based on defined criteria and provides peer training and ensuring accuracy of document title and releases. PREFERRED: Certified electronic health records.
