Posting Description

PHYSICIAN, FAMILY MEDICINE – LEXINGTON, MIT Health, provides longitudinal and episodic primary care to patients within a team-based care model. The physician will assess patient health status through interview and physical exam and synthesize this clinical information to formulate health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of follow up strategies according to age-specific plans of care. The physician also provides health education, supportive counseling, and clinical outreach to the MIT community in collaboration with other individuals or services at MIT Health.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: MD or DO from an accredited medical school; completion of a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program with an accredited US institution; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine; current provider certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Valid MA license, MA CSR and Federal DEA; and clinical experience in primary care of adults with demonstrated competence. PREFERRED: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or experience caring for children and young adults.
